The California-Nevada Section of the American Water Works Association has been a leader in developing water industry guidelines, standards, procedures, training and newsletters for over 85 years. It is the largest AWWA regional section, with over 8,000 members.

To fulfill its mission of leading, educating, and serving the drinking water community to ensure public health and to provide safe and sufficient water for all, CA-NV AWWA offers a number of educational opportunities such as conferences, workshops, an educational symposium and extravaganzas, and the Water College. CA-NV also manages six professional certification programs serving over 20,000 individuals, helping to ensure drinking water safety for over 35 million people. The Section publishes a quarterly journal, Source , and helps disseminate technical input on drinking water issues to state regulators and legislators.

The California - Nevada Section invites you to be a part of our 2009 Spring Conference in Santa Clara, CA!

The theme of the conference is "The Future of Water" and throughout the conference we will be focusing on technology and global issues, including what it means to be "green" in the drinking water industry. The anticipated 1500 to 1800 members to attend conference look forward to meeting you. Will you be in their future?

We welcome you to join us by signing up to exhibit and/or sponsor one of the many special events that are being held during conference, from April 6th to April 9, 2009, at the Santa Clara Hyatt. We challenge you to bring your best information and technology to share with conference attendees.
