CA-NV AWWA Water College

Overview

In 1999, CA-NV AWWA founded the Water College to actively support the CA-NV AWWA mission. The Water College provides quality education to the drinking water profession by offering workshops and IACET accredited courses.  In order to meet the needs of our members, the Water College provides educational opportunities at numerous locations throughout the states of California and Nevada, as well as online through webinars and online classes. The Water College structures its calendar to ensure that this education is accessible to everyone in the drinking water profession, offering classes, workshops, and conferences throughout the year at various locations throughout California and Nevada.

 Program Goals:
•    Develop education that meets the needs of the water industry
•    Train and Educate the Water Profession
•    Improve the quality, safety, and stability of supply of potable water to consumers through education
•    Be the authoritative resource for water education

The CA-NV AWWA Water College is privileged to be an IACET Authorized Provider. Since 2002, CA-NV AWWA has been accredited as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), 1760 Old Meadow Road, Suite 500, McLean, VA 22102.  In obtaining this approval, the CA-NV AWWA has demonstrated that it complies with the ANSI/IACET Standard which is widely recognized as the Standard of good practice internationally.
