Description:
A one-day workshop focusing on the best practices used to ensure efficient well operation and maximizing the productivity and life expectancy of the well and pump.  This workshop focuses on the operational and maintenance strategies that can be employed on active production wells starting when the wells are new and leading up to the time when redevelopment and/or rehabilitation is needed.  Presentation topics will include basic well design principles, pump and well performance data collection and evaluation, symptoms and causes of deteriorating well performance, operational strategies to maintain optimal performance, well rehabilitation techniques and case studies.  By attending this workshop, participants will learn strategies for operating wells with both cost and production efficiency.
