Optimizing Pipeline Management And Planning Decisions

First 40 Attendees are FREE!
Lunch will be provided.  Please email jsandoval@ca-nv-awwa.org with any dietary restrictions.

Description:
Utilities have demonstrated the power of data in upholding reliability and affordability while managing aging pipeline infrastructure.  Technology and advanced analytics can optimize pipeline management strategies to mitigate current and future risk in the most cost-effective way possible.

Join us for an interactive, half-day workshop to explore ways of developing and executing a defensible, data-driven pipeline management program.  Learn how other utilities started and how they scaled their programs and ask the experts about your own pipeline challenges.

Learning Outcomes:

  • How to best evaluate asset risk and prioritize pipe repair or replacement
  • Techniques and technologies for collecting pipeline condition data
  • How to interpret and transform condition data to drive defensible short- and long-term planning decisions
  • Developing, justifying, funding, planning, and monitoring a pipeline management program

This workshop is 9:00 am - 2:00 pm on May 22.
