Description:
The Water Audit Validator course, is designed to qualify individuals to perform Level 1 water audit validations in California and is based on the AWWA Free Water Water Audit Software Version 6.
Certified water audit validators examine water loss audit inputs and supporting documents to verify that the correct methodology was used, to evaluate the selections made in the interactive data grading sheet, and to identify and document sources of uncertainty. Per Senate Bill 555, urban retail water suppliers must submit validated distribution system water audits for all water suppliers under their management annually by January 1.
An exam will be proctored following instruction. Individuals who successfully complete this class and pass the exam will receive a Water Audit Validator certificate. The certificate will be valid for 3 years, and applicable for the AWWA Free Water Audit Software Version 6.
This webinar is 8:00 am - 12:00 pm on March 4-6. The exam will be given on March 7.
