Recycled Water Workshop-RC

Contact Hours:  Earn up to 8 contact hours

Overview:  Now 8 hours and includes shutdown, dye testing and engineering reports.

This eight-hour workshop is designed to provide recycled water system purveyors, designer/builders and users in the state of California with the necessary information required to become fluent in recycled water systems. The workshop is designed to give all stakeholders the necessary understanding to take a project from design to maintenance phase, to make a smooth transition from potable to recycled systems. Now includes procedures for shutdown testing, dye testing and the basics of engineering reports.

Workshop objectives include:

  • Roles and responsibilities of a Site Supervisor at a recycled water use site.
  • Identify potential uses for recycled water with special considerations in designing and installing recycled water systems.
  • Identify potential and direct cross-connections and appropriate preventative measures. 
  • Practice appropriate techniques for the safe and efficient use of recycled water.
  • Complete cross connection inspections and tests.

All fees are non-refundable thereafter. Transfers are based on availability. No transfer requests will be authorized if they are not received more than 15 days prior to class start date. A 100% refund or credit of your registration fee will be issued if a class is canceled by the Section.
