Corrosion Control/Drinking Water Regulatory Workshop

The Corrosion Control portion covers water quality parameters used to predict corrosive properties of raw & treated drinking water that can result in lead leaching into drinking water from customer plumbing. It also covers water treatment & water quality adjustments that can mitigate corrosion of water system piping & assist systems with meeting the requirements of the USEPA Lead & Copper Rule. The Drinking Water Regulatory portion will provide attendees with an overview of Federal Regulations as well as California Regulations: USEPA: 1972 Surface Water Treatment Rule, Arsenic Rule, Filter Backwash Recycling Rule, Groundwater Rule, Interim Enhanced Surface Water Rule, Lead & Copper Rule, Disinfection Byproducts rule(s), Long Term 1 & Long Term 2, public Notification Rule, stage 2 & total coliform rule CA Regulation Title 22 CCR (Chromium 6 & Fluoride Dosing).
