Description:
The State of California's Water Resources Control Board recently adopted Making Conservation a California Way of Life Regulation.  Under this new regulation, urban water suppliers will be required to meet a water use objective, CII performance measures and additional reporting requirements.

This webinar will provide a higher-level overview of the regulation including water use objective components and variances; CII performance measures; compliance and reporting requirements; and steps for implementation and compliance.

Learning Outcomes:
  • Understanding the new water use objective, CII performance measures, reporting requirements and timelines.
  • Basic knowledge of the State Water Board's Water Use Exploration Tool.
  • General understanding of possible compliance actions.

Requests for refunds and transfers must be made in writing and are subject to the following conditions: Full refund of fee paid (minus 25% handling fee) will be issued for cancellations received more than 15 days prior to class start date. All fees are non-refundable thereafter. Transfers are based on availability. No transfer requests will be authorized if they are not received more than 15 days prior to class start date. A 100% refund or credit of your registration fee will be issued if a class is canceled by the Section.
