Speaker Spotlight:
Anika Wong Young is a business development sales engineer for AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company.  She graduated from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo in 2012 with a bachelor's of science degree in Environmental Engineering, and an emphasis in Civil Engineering, Water.  She currently is the chair of the CA-NV AWWA YP Committee, and also is the section's vice chair of the MAC (Manufacturers Associate Council).  Prior to joining AMERICAN, Anika worked in the general contracting industry for PCL Construction, as a project manager, building water and wastewater treatment plants throughout southern California and Arizona.  Halfway through her tenure PCL Construction, she switched to the commercial buildings sector where she worked on notable projects such as the LEGOLAND Castel Hotel in Carlsbad, and even renovated several parking lots here in Anaheim at Disneyland.  Anika joined AMERICAN in September of 2021 and focuses on helping utility owners and engineers with technical and product inquiries, and all things ductile iron pipe across California, Nevada and Hawaii.

Requests for refunds and transfers must be made in writing and are subject to the following conditions: Full refund of fee paid (minus 25% handling fee) will be issued for cancellations received more than 15 days prior to class start date. All fees are non-refundable thereafter. Transfers are based on availability. No transfer requests will be authorized if they are not received more than 15 days prior to class start date. A 100% refund or credit of your registration fee will be issued if a class is canceled by the Section.
