Cross Connection Workshop - RC

Member $185 / Non-member $295 This eight hour workshop is as overview of the administrative and technical procedures required for a cross connection program, including system inspections, hazard evaluation, identification of cross connection problems and backflow prevention devices, shut-down tests, and reclaimed water systems. This workshop is intended as a primer or review for cross-connection control personnel and utilizes AWWA M-14 Manual of Cross Connection Control. Objectives include: - Developing a Cross-Connection Control program for a water utility - Conducting onsite sanitary survey of the potable water system and applying appropriate cross connection control measures - Conducting cross connection control testing - Describe the roles of the water agencies, regulatory agencies, and end users involved in water and recycled water This class is 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Requests for refunds and transfers must be made in writing and are subject to the following conditions: Full refund of fee paid (minus 25% handling fee) will be issued for cancellations received more than 15 days prior to class start date. All fees are non-refundable thereafter. Transfers are based on availability. No transfer requests will be authorized if they are not received more than 15 days prior to class start date. A 100% refund or credit of your registration fee will be issued if a class is canceled by the Section.
