Invitation from Section Chair - Dawn White
The California-Nevada Section invites you to be part of our 2009 Spring Conference in Santa Clara, CA!
The theme of the conference is “The Future of Water” and throughout the conference we will be focusing on technology and global issues, including what it means to be “green” in the drinking water industry. We have a very special Opening Session and Keynote Luncheon in store for you. Our Opening Session will focus on the Five Commandments of Workforce Development and our luncheon
speaker will help you to leverage generational diversity for success. Whether you are a general manager, supervisor or
just entering the drinking water profession, these messages are important to your future. Conference activities include two technical tours, over 200 technical presentations (including contact hours!), more than 150 exhibitors at our table top exhibit hall, a career fair and a special silent auction to benefit Water for People. Spring conference is when the Section’s operator competitions are held as well. You will not want to miss out on the fun! Teams compete in pipe tapping, meter madness and hot flare competitions as well as in the Top-Op’s challenge, which is a fun, fast-paced
game show type event. Will you be there to cheer on your favorite team?
More events and activities are described in this notice as well as hotel and registration information.
You are very important to the California-Nevada Section and we are committed to making sure your conference experience is beneficial and worth your investment. Thank you for being a part of our future!
Dawn White, Section Chair
