Top Ops Committee Charge

The purpose of the Top Ops Committee is

• Coordinate and conduct the Annual "TOP OPS" Challenge held during each Spring Meeting
• Evaluate other activities/competitions that may be incorporated in future meetings and conferences to increase the participation of operating personnel
• Develop and maintain a "how-to" manual for conducting the "TOPS OPS" Challenge
• May video tape the contest proceedings and supply them to the contestants and the Section office. Tapes will also be made available, at a reasonable cost, to interested agencies.
• Supply registration information, before the specified deadline, to the Section office to be included in the Spring Registration Package
• Supply the office with contest results and other promotional material to be published in 'SOURCE'
• Committee consists of a Committee Chair, which should have a strong background in all aspects of water treatment plant operations. There shall be three other members, one of which should be a supplier representative. The Spring Local Arrangements Committee will supply one of its members as liaison to assist in coordinating this event. This committee reports to the Conference Director.

Top Ops Registration Forms

The Committee hosts the Top Ops Challenge at each Spring Conference. The winning team goes on to compete at the National Top Ops Challenge at AWWA's ACE Conference.
