Backflow Tester Course - Lake Elsinore

CA-NV AWWA Member $1,250 / Non-member $1,465

Attendance is mandatory.  In order to complete the course and to receive the specified amount of CEUs, participants must attend 100% of allotted class time and successfully demonstrate their understanding of the material and information covered in this course through a final exam, with a score of at least 70%.  If a student misses any training time or scores 69% or lower on the final exam, the participant will not receive a certificate of completion, and will only receive contact hours for instructional time received.

Refunds are not permitted within 15 days of the course.

Target Audience:
Backflow testers, water purveyors, plumbers, irrigation companies, fire suppression companies, water works underground pipeline companies.

Continuing Education Units:
3.6 CEUs.  Completion with Grade "C" or better and attendance of at least 36 hours.

Prerequisite:
N/A

Textbook:
Manual of Cross-Connection Control Textbook, 10th Edition (included).

Description:
The course (half lecture and half hands-on training) provides the testing and maintenance methods for backflow prevention assemblies.  Participants will learn how to recognize various backflow preventers and the proper procedures for testing each assembly under a variety of test conditions.  This course will review all the rules, codes and regulations on the backflow requirements.

You will receive a copy of the 10th Edition, Manual of Cross Connection Control textbook on the first day of class.

This course is Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm.

Requests for refunds and transfers must be made in writing and are subject to the following conditions: Full refund of fee paid (minus 25% handling fee) will be issued for cancellations received more than 15 days prior to class start date. All fees are non-refundable thereafter. Transfers are based on availability. No transfer requests will be authorized if they are not received more than 15 days prior to class start date. A 100% refund or credit of your registration fee will be issued if a class is canceled by the Section.
