Registration for webinars is a 2-step process. After registering in Zoom you will receive five confirmation emails containing your unique link to each of the webinars.

The Career Development Webinar Series is designed to help water professionals at key stages of career growth—from preparing for advancement, to securing new opportunities, to successfully leading others. Participants begin by building a strong foundation for personal and professional development, gaining clarity on promotion readiness and career expectations. The series also explores how to effectively present their qualifications through application process including résumé writing, completing applications and answering supplemental questions. The series then presents participants with practical strategies to navigate the interview process with confidence, focusing on preparation, communication, and professional presentation. Finally, participants will conclude the series with supervisory development through learning the fundamentals of effective supervision, managing people and processes, and transitioning from individual contributor to a supervisory role. Together, these three sessions provide a comprehensive pathway for career advancement and leadership success for water professionals.

- Path to Promotion and Application Process
This Session provides participants with the knowledge and tools needed to prepare for professional growth and career advancement. Participants will learn about the key steps in personal development, build readiness for promotion, and clarify expectations tied to advancing roles within your agency or company. The course also provides insight into the application process and introduces best practices in résumé writing to help participants present their experience and qualifications confidently and effectively.
This Session provides participants with the tools and strategy to successfully navigate the interview process. Whether you are looking to promote within your current place of employment or are seeking new opportunities, participants will learn about the essential steps for effective interview preparation, proven interview skills and techniques, and gain insight into common interview questions with guidance on crafting articulate, professional responses. The Session is designed to help participants clearly communicate their experience, highlight their strengths and make a positive impression during the interview process.
- Stepping up to Supervisor
This Session introduces participants to the fundamentals of effective supervision. Participants will learn about key supervisory roles and responsibilities, explore the transition from individual contributor to supervisor, and apply supervisory skills and techniques needed to lead teams successfully. The Session’s emphasis on practical approaches to managing people, tasks, and performance in a supervisory role is designed to provide a benefit to participants in a current supervisory role or those that may be new to supervision.
Participants will receive a Certificate of Training upon successful completion of the FULL 3-part webinar series!
