Backflow Tester Course - Sacramento

CA-NV AWWA Member $1,250 / Non-member $1,465

Attendance is mandatory.  In order to complete the course and to receive the specified amount of CEUs, participants must attend 100% of allotted class time and successfully demonstrate their understanding of the material and information covered in this course through a final exam, with a score of at least 70%.  If a student misses any training time or scores 69% or lower on the final exam, the participant will not receive a certificate of completion, and will only receive contact hours for instructional time received.

It is suggested that you bring your own test kit, tools and accessories.  Some are available if you do not have one.

Refunds are not permitted within 15 days of the class.

Continuing Education Units:
3.6 CEUs.  Completion with Grade "C" or better and attendance of at least 36 hours.

Textbook:
Manual of Cross-Connection Control Textbook, 10th Edition (included).

Description:
This course (half lecture and half hands-on training) provides the testing and maintenance methods for backflow prevention assemblies.  Participants will learn how to recognize various backflow preventers and the proper procedures for testing each assembly under a variety of test conditions.  This course will review all the rules, codes and regulations on the backflow requirements.

This course is Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Earn 3.6 CEUs.

Requests for refunds and transfers must be made in writing and are subject to the following conditions: Full refund of fee paid (minus 25% handling fee) will be issued for cancellations received more than 15 days prior to class start date. All fees are non-refundable thereafter. Transfers are based on availability. No transfer requests will be authorized if they are not received more than 15 days prior to class start date. A 100% refund or credit of your registration fee will be issued if a class is canceled by the Section.
