Corrosion Cntrl & Drink Wtr Reg Workshop-B

Workshop Description:
This workshop covers water quality parameters used to predict corrosive properties of raw and treated drinking water that can result in lead leaching into drinking water from customer plumbing.  The workshop also covers water treatment and water quality adjustments than can mitigate corrosion of water system piping and assist systems with meeting the requirements of the USEPA Lead & Copper Rule.  Attendees will walk through the factors and steps that lead to the Flint drinking water disaster which resulted in the public being exposed to high levels of dissolved lead.
