Cybersecurity Workshop

As a critical infrastructure cyber security will provide the knowledge and skills needed to recognize gaps in your organization’s cybersecurity coverage, and to be able to take actionable steps to mitigate cyberattack risk on your system.

Workshop Description: The AWWA Process Control System Security Guidance for the Water Sector (Cybersecurity Guidance Tool) provides utility owners in the water sector with the ability to quickly review their control system architecture and use against the national standards, guidelines and best practices for the secure operation of their control systems and technology assets. 

This workshop consists of five modules that focus on (1) drivers for Cybersecurity, (2) how to select the applicable use cases, (3) how the controls generated by the use cases are derived from the standards, (4) execution of the Cybersecurity Guidance Tool using a sample system architecture and (5) how to move forward with the controls to improve security on the control system by developing a customized cybersecurity improvement plan.

Discover preventatives and solutions to defend cyber security attacks. Improve weaknesses and be aware of the many possibilities within cyber security systems.

Requests for refunds must be made in writing and are subject to the following conditions: Full refund of fee paid (minus $50.00 handling fee) will be issued for cancellations received more than two weeks prior to class or event date. All fees are non-refundable thereafter.

Transfer Policy
