Description:
This webinar will focus on understanding and preparing for compliance with the United States Environmental Protection Agency Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI).  The LCRI were finalized in October 2024, just as water systems nationwide were completing the significant task of evaluating the material of services lines on both the system- and privately-owned sides of the meter throughout their distribution systems and compiling an Initial Service Line Inventory (SLI) as required by the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions.

Key Topics to be Covered:
  • Follow on requirements for the service line inventory
  • Updating tap sampling plans
  • Public outreach and communication requirements
  • Planning for lead testing in schools and childcare facilities

This webinar is 9:00 am - 10:00 am on January 21.
