The California-Nevada Section of AWWA (CA-NV Section) is a well-respected, IACET-accredited provider of water education, serving the needs of the water industry for over 95 years. The CA-NV Section is looking for qualified people to serve as instructors. If you have solid experience in the water industry, and have taught or would like to teach water-related material to others, then the CA-NV Section is looking for you! Operations Specialist I or Trainee
SQUAW VALLEY PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT is accepting applications for the position of Operations Specialist I or Operations Specialist Trainee, based on qualifications. This position performs a variety of manual tasks associated with the operations and maintenance of District facilities including: repairs to pumps, wells, piping and appurtenances; repair or replacement of fire hydrants, meters, meter vaults, valves, valve stacks and water mains; repair, replacement or inspection of manholes, cleanouts, sewer mains and sewer meters.
This position is full time, 40 hours per week. Salary range is $4,331-$5,265 for Specialist Trainee and $5,161-$6,274 for Specialist I per month. Both positions include a full benefit package including paid vacation and sick leave, 11 paid holidays, as well as medical, dental and vision coverage and a CalPERS retirement plan. Additional incentives of up to 10% of the base salary available upon completion of approved certifications.
Possession of a valid driver's license, acceptable by and in good standing with State of California is required. Physical exam, background check and pre-employment drug screening test required. Construction experience is desirable.

Senior Engineer - Municipal Water Systems (MWS) / City of San Jose, California
Annual salary range: $109,283 to $138,236

Municipal Water Systems for the City of San Jose needs a seasoned Senior Engineer to serve as the technical lead for a team of engineers and technical staff. This position manages and implements a water supply master plan to serve current and future customers, develops new water supply infrastructure, manages the Capital Improvement Program (CIP), and ensures continued compliance with water quality standards. There is no typical day with this position; you will not be bored.
In addition to solid engineering expertise, exceptional team building and personnel skills are critical in this role. The ideal candidate will enjoy mentoring staff and have some background working with operations and maintenance groups. You will have the opportunity in this position to expand your experience and knowledge in a collaborative environment. As Senior Engineer flexibility and an openness to reviewing multiple options is a must.
